The Central IT Club Entity (CITCE) mandate was created in June 2007 to support existing, as well as newly established, IT Clubs in Egypt. The CITCE will foster a community needs based approach to IT Club operations, champion knowledge sharing and capacity building for IT Club staff as well as utilization of IT Clubs as local focal points for community development, and the human capacity development of the surrounding population. It will also provide IT Clubs with the resources and skills they need to make their centers effective vehicles for community development.
