This is indeed a great initiative having started this group. I am really impressed members are equally concerned about global issues related to going green.

Thanks for forming such a group because we definately need to go green.
Climate change is the anatomy of a silent crisis and at least more than 325 million people are globally and currently affected, human impact report reveals. We all should take the initiative and email softcopies instead of delivering hard copies, limiting disposable containers, raising awareness, eating more fruits, grains and vegetables, avoiding bottled water(I am serious), planting trees among other measures for a sustainable environment.

Thanks for the invite and such a great initiative. Climate change is now ranked as the world new epidermic and over 325 million people are globally and currently affected by climate change. Do not just post your comments but take an extra mile today and plant a tree, eat more fruits, grains and vegetables, avoid bottled water(I am serious), limit on disposable containers and send an email instead of printing documents.
Lets go green for a sustainable environment.

Blog Action Day is an annual event that unites the world's bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day on their own blogs with the aim of sparking discussion around an issue of global importance. Blog Action Day 2009 will be the largest-ever social change event on the web. One day. One issue. Thousands of voices.

People are encaurages to write about climate change in the context of how it relates to the topic of their blog, example:

* A Technology or Business blog might write about emerging clean tech and how innovative companies might be able to help address the problem of climate change.
* A Health or Lifestyle blog might write about how climate change will affect our children's health and daily living.
* A Nonprofit or Political blog might write about how climate change is deeply connected to many other issues - such as poverty and conflict.
* A Design blog might write about new trends in eco-friendly or sustainable design.
* A Travel blog might write about the places you want to see now before climate change makes them difficult to access or, well, under the sea.
