The Way to Money Next Door

This group is about Money, Money & more Money. It shares skills, cases & ways to mobilize for it, organize for it & manage it well for more. It is a must belong to for donors & managers. It looks at tactical and strategic ways of getting Money you need for telecentre activities gushing in; day in: day out. It is not about short gun solutions; it thus calls for bit by bit learning discipline. But by the end members will;

#1. Master the practice of fundraising; skills, tools, techniques and ways
#2. Share success stories on fundraising from donors’ and managers’ side
#3. Identify fundraising opportunities next door and take them by the horns
#4. Refresh on proposal writing as a KEY tool for idea communication
#5. Meet with donors and share ideas before requesting for money.

Our sharing follows the rule of; One idea at a time, Speak simple and clearly, Keep it short, Brief life stories explain better, Think out of the box; anything can be.

It looks at tactical and strategic ways of getting Money you need for telecentre activities gushing in; day in: day out. It is not about short gun solutions; it thus calls for bit by bit learning discipline. But by the end, everybody will;

#1. Learn good and bad practices of fundraising; skills, tools, techniques and ways.

#2. Share motivating success stories on fundraising from donors’ and managers’ side.

The space is about the dos and don’t of getting Money. Be it from donors, corporate, or individuals. We mean Big Money for Real cause. That’s why here we talk skills, cases and experiences to mobilize friends for money, organize for money & manage money for more money... Its a must belong to for donors and managers.

Because you matter; we have until 12th December Friday 2008 to register members: ALL for FREE, both donors and telecetre people. Your role and my role are to get everybody here especially donor in the coming 8 days. The first session will look at important things in building up relations between the to-be DONOR and RECIEVER. Clear guide on this will come out shortly after the registration phase is complete.

Enjoy the group....

I think money can be achieved through either fundraising or NGOs projects that have at least cost covery mechanisms.

the fundraising will negatively be influenced by the world economic crisis

This sounds very substantial towards the improvement of communication and living standards of People. You know where there is Money,there is life and without it life will be so complicated.

So i agree with Mr Ndaula Sula for such a wonderful topic put under discussion,ofcourse this is another way of sharing and getting know Peoples' view about money.

There so many ways of getting money,say when you start up a project say of internet that's money you will be generating,fundraising is also another way of getting money,through Organizations and not letting out farming in modern way.

Cheers,
Muwayi Iddi

Money has and will always be key in any activity. Even in telecentres we are talking sustainability. This basically means the ability for telecentres to make money so that they can stay alive and realise growth.

If you visit Telecentres today, you will some are struggling while other are booming, why? its the ability to see opportunities and take advantage of them. Telecentres are becoming versatile, adding on new activities to compliment the existing ones. This is aimed at tapping new markets while still helping the community. I like the idea of calling the group MONEY NEXT DOOR, as it conveniently stands for the ability to see opportunity knocking and seizing it.

Money! Money! Money! Money!

Ooops, muderous, prosperous; quite Ironical. It can seperate and or unite a family, strengthen or weeaken a system but whether evilish or Goddish, it is unavodable and necesary. That is money

Thank you Sula for this group.
