Thanks TCF for initiating such an useful platform. It would be great to take this effort at a greater height through facilitation support at action level. Lets create couple of examples of 'success cases' and share the document among others to get inspired as well as involved.

BIID (www.biid.org.bd) will be happy to share our inclusive business model of telecentres and services with the communities beyond Bangladesh.

Thanks,
Shahid

Hi Shahid. That would be great. Thanks for sharing with the rest of the community about Bangladesh's business model for telecentres. You may also create and lead a discussion in this space.

Dear Jimena and programme team,

picking up on Shahid's idea (a great webinar the other day, BTW) perhaps a series of specific topics can be identified, which would then facilitate the provision of examples or case studies by TC.org members. This provide a type of 'catalog' of interesting learning references coming from real life regarding TC sustainability, particularly about social enterprise models (which I assumed was the key theme for the webinar series).
Cheers,
Manuel

Couldn't agree more Shahid and Manuel.

A set of cases will be greatly beneficial for the movement. Let's start the discussion on that:

In just 4 TIS Talks webinars, I see three trends: 1. The product and services approach, 2.The project based approach, and 3. A combination of the two.
Another element to study as a path for sustainability is the knowledge enterprise or the knowledge based service ( Syrian Telecentre Project)
Do you identify other approaches and / or elements addressing sustainability issues?

All the best,

Jimena

Regards,

Jimena

Dear friends
The world has not ended this December and we find ourselves once more on the brink of a new year. But, even though the oceans did not overflow, the mountains did not melt and no asteroid struck the Earth, the landscape has changed for many of us or is going to change soon and the new year we stand to meet is a very different, it is a promising new world.
We admit New is the year, new are the hopes, the best of the wishes are for u and ur families. Have a promising and fulfilling new year, and let us all add life to our years and 4get about the years added to our life. Because, God is the only knows when the life will end and we are called to serve the humanity by being God's instruments. Let us hope that the year 2013 will bring forth all the opportunities for us. Always remember that reality ruins life. Stay healthy, save, happy and always smile because it did not worth to do anything else.
I am personally grateful to each one of you for the input, support and inspiration that has brought us all to this point. I wish you a wonderful new year filled with abundance of joy and treasured moments
