Hi Ahmed,
I thank you a lot for wonderful welcome in Khartoum. I was glad to have shared with the rest of the international participants on the Knowledge Management Perspectives: The role of telecentres in regional development. As the theme of the workshop/Conference was Harnessing tools for Knowledge Management, the intention of my presentation was to submit that with existing obstacles facing rural Africa, telecentres could be one of the best options for narrowing digital divide and facilitating delivery and exchange of indigenous and international knowledge resources through ICTs. The purpose of the presentation was to bring to attention to the academicians, civil society and policy makers that telecentres if effectively nurtured could be big contributors to achievement of information and knowledge society.

Your support during the presentation is appreciated.

I thank you Ahmed and the rest of the Telecentre Academy in Sudan.

Dean
