Knowledge Network and Multi Sector Partnership Symposium was Arranged by the Information Technology Authority (ITA), Sultanate of Oman, Muscat 21 – 25 September 2012 at the AL BUSTAN PALACE, A RITZ-CARLTON HOTEL. The symposium started with a visit to Community Knowledge Center CKC in Al Amerat and a visit to the Women Community Knowledge Center (WCKC) in Al Seeb. The symposium was attended by many Telecentre leaders, UN-ESCWA, Oman tel. and ITU. Three sessions and 12 speakers presented and spoke about the ITA Telecentres, women Digital literacy campaign, GDCO Sudan and Salamieh Syria Telecentre best practices, Drishtee India, El Khawarizm Tunisia, ICT Trust for Development-Egypt, Telecentre movement, ESCWA knowledge network and inclusion of disability and Oman Tel. e-infrastructure.
