Telecentres As Educational Models

I think telecentres should also be considered proactively as educational models, in addition to the business model concept. Ananya S Guha replied to Catalina Escobar's discussion How to generate income at the Telecenter?

Ananya S Guha replied to Sandra Nassali's discussion How can community radios/media be of relevancy to their publics/audiences and communities with in their reach?

Ananya S Guha replied to Masahudu M. Marhey's discussion Telecentre content

Community Facilitators

I am looking at telecentres and their functionality not only for computer literacy but also as viable study centres for educational needs. They could be termed as knowledge or resource centres. It is here I think that community facilitators could play a significant and meaningful role as counsellors. Such a model will help to augment activities such as teacher training, literacy, carreer counselling, and even inparting awareness programmes on a short term basis such as awareness on health… Continue
