‘UISC shed the stigma of unemployment’

Mr. Anwar Hossain is the entrepreneur of Rohita Union Information and Service Centre (UISC), Monirampur, Jessore. After completing BSC examination in 2009, he applied to a number of places for a job. Info service centres in cities, pourasabhas soon in Bangladesh

Access to Information (A2I) Programme of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has taken a special measure to install information service centres in 11 city corporations and 318 pourasabhas in the country.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed Thursday between A2I Programme and Urban Partnership for Poverty Reduction (UPPR) to reach all kinds of service of the city corporations and pourasabhas to doorsteps of the people.
