"This a great idea. The telecentres for the disabled can also serve disadvantaged groups in the society like youth and women from poor backgrounds hence bridging the digital divide further. I fully support the concept."

About Me (biography or organization description): I have been in the forefront championing the establishment of telecentre networks in Africa since 2005. I am a founder member of the Kenya Network of Telecentres (KenTeL) along with Cleopa Timon Otieno the CLC Coordinator for Anglophone Africa. By championing the telecentre course in Kenya I strongly feel that it is only way to empower local communities by gathering and sharing knowledge for socio-economic development. My ambition in future is to establish strong regional and global networks hence making the telecentre communities sustainable and more active.
