- Conducts communication research for local and international institutions in the Philippines
- Serves on the faculty of graduate and undergraduate schools of communication
- Trained rice scientists from 10 Asian countries to develop their communication and people skills
- Developed more than 200 education and communication materials in print, video, and other media
- Published articles on agriculture science research in popular magazines in the Philippines

AIJC is a 30-year-old institution for graduate education, training, research and consultancy in communication. Its Graduate School provides higher-education opportunities to mass media practitioners and other professionals in government, corporate, and academic organizations.
