The Burundi Community Telecentre Network ( B.C.T.N) is holding the first strategic planification workshop in Bujumbura. The event will take place at the "Centre Communautaire de Bujumbura" where 60 participants will be attending it. - Since 2002, I have been the program manager at BYTC's youth information access point.
Early in 2008, I was one of the foundators of Burundi Community Telecenter Network. At the network, we want to initiate and strengthen the Burundian telecenter mouvement.

Radio Ijwi ry' Umukenyezi (Voice of the woman) of Giheta (in Burundi):one year of operation;an impressive impact !
The speech of the legal representative of Dushirehamwe at the official launch of Radio Ijwi Ry'Umukenyezi was very instructive for me.She underlined importance of the needs assessment survey conducted on the people of Giheta before the installation of the radio. Official launch of Radio Ijwi Ry'Umukenyezi ( Voice of women) in Giheta ( Burundi)
The Community Radio "Ijwi ry' Umukemyezi" (means the voice of
woman) was officially launched this Monday April 27th 2009, by the Prime Vice - President of Burundi: Dr.Yves SAHINGUVU.
This official inauguration occured almost one year after of operation since it started to broadcast in May 2008.
