Since 2002, I have been the program manager at BYTC's youth information access point.
Early in 2008, I was one of the foundators of Burundi Community Telecenter Network. At the network, we want to initiate and strengthen the Burundian telecenter mouvement.
Areas of Interest/Expertise and Types of Services Provided
I am very interested in the telecenter's sustainability issues.
In 2007, I attendend online trainings on Internet and ICT governance and became one the trainers in 2008. The trainings were provided by Diplo Foundation.

Radio Ijwi ry' Umukenyezi (Voice of the woman) of Giheta (in Burundi):one year of operation;an impressive impact !

The speech of the legal representative of Dushirehamwe at the official launch of Radio Ijwi Ry'Umukenyezi was very instructive for me.She underlined importance of the needs assessment survey conducted on the people of Giheta before the installation of the radio. That made it possible to build the grid of the programs and relevant themes to be developped.

Official launch of Radio Ijwi Ry'Umukenyezi ( Voice of women) in Giheta ( Burundi)

The Community Radio "Ijwi ry' Umukemyezi" (means the voice of

woman) was officially launched this Monday April 27th 2009, by the Prime Vice - President of Burundi: Dr.Yves SAHINGUVU.

This official inauguration occured almost one year after of operation since it started to broadcast in May 2008.

The radio was born from the initiative of "DUSHIREHAMWE" ( a woman non profit organization based in Burundi ) and was supported by UNESCO.

The 3rd Internet Governance Forum : Hyderabad from 3rd to 6th December 2008

During the WSIS (World Summit on Information Society) held Geneva in 2003 and Tunis in 2005, it was recommended to UN to organise Internet Governance Forum ( IGF) and this question was put on diplomatic agenda.
