Pawel Makowiecki is in the business of delivering inspiration and connecting: people, knowledge, ideas.

For many years he was active in Polish scouting and guiding movement and engage himself in international student organizations - where he delivered many conferences and workshops about leadership, building the knowledge-based organizations, working and living in different cultural enviroments.

In 2003 he toke part in Ashoka's "School for Young Social Entrepreneurs" after which he founded the Responsible Business Institute, one of the most innovative "think-and-do-tank" in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Social Innovation in Poland.

In the years 2006-2009 he delivered telecentre project in his home region (founded from Microsoft Unlimited Potential grant). In years 2007-2009 he was a member of Steering Committee in Telecentre-Europe and engage himself in contributing to other telecentre networks.

From 2010 working in training department of Digital Divide Data in Cambodia - a social enterprise providing world-class IT services and building bridges to opportunity in the global economy.

In his work as a facilitator, he focuses himself on creating of the environment where people can feel safe, are listened to and respected.

His biggest fetishes are knowledge management, education, technology and culture.

Facebook more popular than E-Mail

Nielsen Online, an Internet marketing research company publish at 9th March 2009 a report which shows that "social networking" sites are the four the most popular Internet activity, more popular than a personal e-mail.
