Now some Children with learning disabilities Down's Syndrome and Autism are exhibit a wide range of symptoms. They have problems with reading, mathematics, comprehension, writing, spoken language, or reasoning abilities. Dr Harsha Liyanage, Sri Lankan telecentre pioneer, joins telecentre.org as a research fellow

Dr Harsha Liyanage, one of Sri Lanka's original telecentre pioneers has joined telecentre.org as a research fellow. Over the next 18 months, Harsha will review the history of the social enterprise movement, examine current trends in the use of ICTs in private sector and social enterprise approaches to poverty reduction, document promising models, and identify emerging opportunities.
