ICTA project brings ICT to the smallest businesses in distant villages

The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) in collaboration with the Industrial Services Bureau has launched a project for taking the dividends of ICT to the small scale businesses in remote villages. Now that the World Virtual School has been firmly established, we are offering some new vocational courses. They are offered "Free of charge" to everyone, and I hope that the Telecentres will promote them to their users to encourage computer literacy, ESL, and vocational courses, as well as the use of the Telecentre themselves as a networking tool.
