US firm sets up data backup centre for East African companies

Regional companies looking to set up digital backup centres can now benefit from training to be offered locally by an international data examiner.



The International Consortium for Organisational Resilience (ICOR), an IT examiner based in the US, has set up shop in Kenya in partnership with a local software firm, OPENWORLD Ltd, in an effort to train professionals who can set up and operate data centres.
