The Ripple Effect: the “Mission” Spreads from India to Bangladesh

Capturing and Sharing Knowledge: Bringing Together Telecentre Networks in Colombia

In August 2006, COLNODO, a Colombian NGO working to leverage ICTs for development, launched an 18-month pilot project to better document best practices and improve knowledge-sharing between government and community-based networks. This project is supported by telecentre.org and implemented in collaboration with public and private institutions, such as Compartel, the government-supported telecentre program, and the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente.

Weaving Telecentres in Uruguay, and Networks Across Latin America

MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY, April 2007 — The Committee to Democratize Information Technology (CDI), as part of the Uruguayan Network of Community Infocentres (RUTELCO) and with support from telecentre.org, brought together over 120 telecentre and ICT4D activists to share experiences and create an action plan to strengthen telecentres in Uruguay.

Savoirs et partages: Biggest French IT schools to disseminate free courses

Savoirs et partages is a French national project carried out by the "Groupe des Ecoles de télécommunications" (GET). This French Open Course Ware project shares online courses written by a number of professors working in GET Schools and authorizing free access to pedagogical supports relating to their teaching programs.
