Prototype $35 basic touchscreen tablet for students unveiled



India, known for the "world's cheapest" innovations, unveiled a prototype of a $35 tablet computer aimed at students.



The project is part of an ambitious education technology initiative by the Indian government, which also aims to bring broadband connectivity to India's 25,000 colleges and 504 universities and make study materials available online.

POETA Accessible Outcome Mapping in Central America: Sharing significant practices

Telecenters look into new services to strengthen their communities

The Municipality of Pizarro, in the department of Chocó, is proud to say that now has a messaging solution center, a new service of sending and receiving packets that had not existed. It serves as a franchise of a local packaging and shipping company called Servientrega.
