Digital inclusion agreement for the local entrepreneurs

Medellin Digital and the Cedezo (Local Centers of Entrepreneurship Development) signed an agreement for the installation in the 8 centers, of PCs and wireless Internet. This will help spread the use of ICTs among the entrepreneurs in the different neighborhoods of the city. The Sudan has become UN-ESCWA's 14th member country.



The Sudan has recently acceded to the membership of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA). The Commission has thus come to include 14 member countries. Telecentre curbs HIV/AIDS stigmatisation in Uganda

Support on Aids and Life through Telephone helpline (SALT) is a centre through which People Living With HIV/Aids (PLHAs) are counseled and guided online.



The telecentre that was formed in 2003 by Uganda Aids Commission under the National Forum for PLHAs Networks in Uganda (NAFOPHANU) caters for PLHAs under stigmatization, as well as those that are too sick and therefore cannot reach health centres.

Maria Isabel Rodriguez is a 57 years old women living in Medellin. For 2 years she has been using the ICTs in daily life.
