Mr. Eugene Ramos, our "all – in – one" CeC Manager

An “all-in-one” feature is not only for printers and other equipments but also for motivated and dedicated center managers, like Mr. Eugene Ramos, the CeC Manager of the Municipal Government of Tanauan in the Leyte Province, Philippines.

Tanauan CeC in Full Blast!

The Tanauan Community eCenter is going from strength to strength. It has committed to train 700 women by June 2012 under the Philippine Digital Literacy Women Campaign. It is expected to train more than 1,000 women before the year ends.

Bato CeC: A Catalyst in Information Technology

Limited internet connectivity and information resources in public and private schools were among the major concerns of Bato, Leyte, a small town with a land area of 7,152 hectares, composed of only 32 barangays. In 2005, the only connection to the internet was through dial-up - no internet service provider (ISP) prioritized putting up their infrastructures in the town.

Tanauan CeC: Showcasing to the world 24/7

The Tanauan CeC continues to serve its community as a conduit for efficient delivery of government and other services and a potent tool for empowerment of unserved and underserved communities. As it continues to serve, it also continues to grow, in number and in reach.

Realistic Path To Sustainability for the Telecentre Champions Group

I observed that the is gloriously accomplishing its plans for the global communities as a whole from the time the final version was released a year ago. It has laid a very strong foundation in terms of building networks, creating content and services, sharing knowledge and connecting networks.
