Scaling Telecentres for Development: Interview with Mark Surman & Barbara Fillip

Barbara Fillip, from the Academy for Educational Development (AED), and Mark Surman, from telecentre.org, are featured in a Development Gateway interview for the ICT4D dgCommunity. They discuss major telecentre issues and outputs of a recent publication titled Making the connection: Scaling Telecentres for Development.

Making the connection identifies and discusses the most pressing issues facing the global telecentre movement, presents a condensed view of the current state of knowledge with regard to telecenters, and highlights possible paths forward.

The publication is of great interest for ICT4D practitioners working in the field of telecenters and public access initiatives.

Full interview prepared by Thomas Bekkers, ICT4D dgCommunity Content Coordinator (download PDF, 5 pages)
