The Minister of Agriculture and “Fundación para la Innovación Agraria (FIA)” made the 3th International Seminar about agriculture and ICT.

Important national and international expositors exposed topics related with “More and better connectivity”, “ Digital content development related with agriculture” and “Training rural digital”.

In relation with the last topic, Eugenio Vergara, Director of CDI and president of ATACH, told to the attendees about the mission of each member organization of ATACH and highlighted the important proyect that FIA and CDI are making together related with the telecentres implementation and training digital.

Along the day, many international expositors mentioned the relevance of the digital trainings in the agriculture world and how the incorporation of new technologies have achieved improve the agriculture in many areas.

Among the speakers highlighted the involvement of Bertrand Manterola, Chief Information and Media Department, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Government of France, Javier Martínez A., Knowledge Management Division Manager, CATENARY-Spain, Mónica Rodrigues D., Economic Affairs Officer, Agricultural Unit, ECLAC, among others.
