Cherie Blair Foundation for Women (CBFW)is the latest organization to form an alliance with Telecentre.org Foundation (TCF) in its continuing efforts for women.
On August 10, 2012, TCF announced that it would be joining CBFW’s Mentoring Women in Business Programme as a Partner. As part of the agreement between the two organizations, TCF is expected to identify a minimum of fifty mentees for CBFW’s Mentoring Women in Business Programme. The Mentoring program combines mentoring with technology and gives mentees access to a 12-month, one-to-one mentoring relationship, an online multimedia training session, online networking forums and events, and an online resource center. Mentors will provide advice and support to mentees in areas ranging from developing a business plan to sourcing capital. The program is expected to benefit women all over the world by improving their self-confidence and building on their business knowledge, marketing know-how, and technological skills.
More information on this partnership and the selection process for identifying mentees will be released in further announcements. Please keep visiting the TCF website for updates.
