Telecentre Women - Ines Copete, ICT trainer from Makaia in Chocó, finalist in the “Prevention, gender and ICT” contest

Inés Copete, Telecenter Administrator and ICT Trainer participated in the “Prevention, gender and ICT” contest with the proposal “Celebration and reenactment of the International Day of Non-violence Against Women and Girls, using ICT, in Nuqui – Choco”, with which she placed as a finalist.

Chocó is one of the poorest states in Colombia and is locatedin the pacific coast. Inés is a great example of the role of women in the fostering the use of ICT.
