Hi, I wish to add that there are about 27 more Broadband Access Centers (NACs) set up by Distance Education Modernization Project (DEMP) of Ministry of Higher Education and now facing closing down as the ADB project is over and MOHE has no clear objectives for Distance Education in Sri Lanka, where many developed countries are poring investments while our decision makers sleep, to say to the point.
Please look into this matter and if possible to take through ICTA or NENASALA and make the skills and vocational training available for needy people at a low cost than encouraging go abroad. USD 60 million investment will go waste if not and the skilled people has to find alternate jobs. Contact: ranjithsilva@gmail.com for any details. Good day.
