For many telecentres struggling to deliver high quality yet inexpensive services to their communities, the high cost of hardware can be quite a nightmare and a serious drawback. So, as part of the on-going TIS Talks initiative focusing on telecentre sustainability, Telecentre.org Foundation, Intel and GreenBridge Computing have joined forces to bring you a one-hour webinar session that will tackle innovative solutions aimed at addressing this pressing issue. The said webinar will be held on Thursday, October 4, at 6am GMT.
In keeping with GreenBridge’s mission to ‘sustainably bridge the digital divide’, CEO David Yunger will be sharing valuable insights on how telecentres can break down the barrier of incredibly expensive hardware and be able to offer better products and services to their respective communities without necessarily having to shell out a large sum to cover hardware expenses. GreenBridge offers solutions of top quality computer workstations that are only a fraction of the cost of conventional PCs.
Join us then on October 4. Just log in as Guest at http://engageteachers.adobeconnect.com/telecentre at least 10 minutes before the actual webinar time.
Meanwhile, here is a couple of videos that illustrate some of the solutions made available by
GreenBridge.
