What is the 4th global Telecentre forum?

What is the 4th global Telecentre forum?   

It is an ICT4D conference known as spark13 where many distinguished ICT4D speakers and Telecentres leaders will address the conference (agenda) and share their experiences, accumulated knowledge and best practices. It is expected to connect more than 1300 attendees to a network of organizations and individuals who share a common vision of the power of technology to create opportunities, generate sustainable growth, and enable partnerships. The conference is organized by Telecentre.org Foundation (TCF), Telecentre-Europe (TE), Comunidad de Redes de Telecentros,  Red Guadalinfo and the National Information Society Agency of Korea (NIA) and it will be held at Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos . It will be held at Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos Granada Spain 28th to 29th May 2013

What are the themes?

The three main Spark themes are People, Innovation, and Sustainability which will be addressed by distinguished ICT4D speakers and Telecentres leaders sharing their experiences, knowledge and best practices especially for marginalized, disadvantage and under-served communities  

What else

1-   Declaration of the 1st Global Telecentre Awards where 15 out of 254 nominees in 6 categories are selected as semifinalist and now  you can vote online for your best project till 15th May 2013.

2- The conference will also focus on initiatives that contribute to empowerment of women and girls through the meaningful use of ICTs.

3- Participate in the Marketplace of Ideas. These are sessions organized as collaborative periods during which experts in the areas of technology, communications, and funding will be on hand to provide constructive feedback to project leaders who wish to grow their initiatives.

4- exhibition area which is showcase of new technologies, products and services relevant to Telecentres as well as organizations seeking to start or grow partnerships

How to participate?

You can register (click here) to attend the physical meetings in Granada Spain 28th to 29th May 2013 or you can join online because the sessions will be broadcasted online to ensure audience participation from all over the globe.
